My interest in physical therapy began in high school when my mom suffered a neck injury. I went with her to her PT sessions and saw firsthand the incredible impact it had on her recovery and overall well-being. That experience made me realize I wanted to help others in the same way. I was also drawn to the profession because of the one-on-one connections you get to build with patients and the rewarding experience of watching them progress toward their goals.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Utah, then went on to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University. During my DPT program, I had the opportunity to complete clinical internships with an outpatient orthopedic focus, which solidified my interest in orthopedic care.
After graduating, I chose to continue my professional development through an orthopedic residency with Hand & Ortho. My goal is to provide the highest quality care through evidence-based practice and to stay up to date with the latest research and treatment techniques.
When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, playing golf, and watching football, basketball and soccer.
