Margo has specialized in hand therapy and in treating conservative and post surgical dysfunctions of the hand and upper extremity. She loves treating multi-system injuries that are complex and challenging.
Margo graduated from the University of Utah with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010 and a Bachelor in Physical Therapy in 1977. She credentialed as a Certified Hand Therapist in 1993. After becoming a CHT, she has mentored many OTs and PTs to become Certified Hand Therapists. Margo’s career remains focused on teaching health care professionals in hand therapy, raising the standards of the practice, and educating the public and primary care physicians on the role of the Certified Hand Therapist. Additionally, she teaches splinting and hand therapy at the University of Utah
Margo loves to spend as much time as possible with her family. She also loves cooking, gardening, skiing, tennis, traveling, and knitting.

Steve passed the National Hand Therapy Certification Exam in 1999 to become a certified hand therapist. He specializes in the conservative and postsurgical management of hand and upper extremity injuries. He specializes in the fabrication of custom splints and orthotics for the upper extremities. In addition, Steve is certified in ASTYM treatment for the upper extremity. The ASTYM System is a form of augmented soft tissue mobilization that allows the therapist to stimulate the body’s natural capacity to heal problems such as soft tissue degeneration, fibrosis, tendonosis or chronic inflammation. Steve is also a certified self-help course instructor for the Arthritis Foundation.
Steve graduated from the University of Utah in 2010 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and his Bachelors in Physical Therapy in 1994. He joined Hand & Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialists in 2002. Steve is involved in physical therapy education as an auxiliary faculty for Salt Lake Community College and the University of Utah.
Steve enjoys running, skiing, hiking, fishing and spending time with his wife and their three children. Steve speaks Spanish.
