Membership Bonnie is a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society. EducationBonnie graduated from PT school in 1991 and joined the Air Force as a Physical Therapist. She lived in Japan for 4 years. Then after 8 years in the US, she joined the reserves and moved to Utah. After practicing orthopedics for 12 years, she saw the need for therapists to treat pelvic floor disorders. Bonnie has received specialized training in Women’s Health. She passed the Board Certification in Orthopedics and Strength and Conditioning through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Bonnie has 24 years of Military Service, serving in both active and reserves. Bonnie enjoys golfing, skiing, spending time with family and friends, and is a Harry Potter fanatic.

Amy Garvey, PTAAmy has worked for Hand & Orthopedic Rehab since 2004 and has specialized in treating pelvic floor dysfunctions. She graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Psychology. She graduated from the Salt Lake Community College in 2004 as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Amy has taken courses on SI Joint Dysfunction, thoracic spine, and movement of the low back and hips. Amy loves helping people feel better. She enjoys getting them back to what they love to do. Amy lives in Sandy with her husband and two darling children. She loves windsurfing and gardening.

Laura Diaz, PTALaura is a licensed physical therapist assistant who is experienced in the treatment of dysfunctions and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. She believes a holistic approach to therapy is crucial, and makes it her practice to address both the emotional and physical components to healing. Laura has experience in the treatment of low back pain in pregnant women. She is now working on Steve’s team, helping a broader scope of patients in need of therapy for back pain and dysfunction. Laura graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Salt Lake Community. She has also taken a continuing education course in SI Joint and Lumbar dysfunction. Laura lives in Salt Lake City with her husband. She is an artist in Metal Art Welding. Laura enjoys gardening, snow shoeing, camping and hiking. Laura learned to speak Spanish in a Spanish Immersion program in grade school. Laura also speaks Spanish.
