Josh specializes in treating musculoskeletal conditions of the spine and extremities. Whether or not it is post operative or conservative treatment, he enjoys working with patients of all ages and abilities. Over the past several years, Josh has also developed specialization in vestibular and balance rehabilitation. The focus of vestibular rehabilitation is to reduce patient dizziness and restore the body’s normal sense of balance. Josh receives much satisfaction assisting patients who are limited due to vestibular dysfunction.

In 2011, he became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by passing the National Board Examination through the American Physical Therapy Association.  Josh is also certified in the ASTYM system treating soft tissue injuries. See www.ASTYM.com.

Josh attended the University of Utah where he was a member of the Sports Medicine Program for four years. Upon graduating with a degree in Spanish and Certification as an Athletic Trainer, Josh enrolled in the Arizona School of Health Sciences. He graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2003. Josh has practiced as a licensed physical therapist in the Salt Lake valley for 7 years and is excited to be working with Hand and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialists beginning in 2011. His experiences in physical therapy and athletic training have shaped his treatment philosophy to focus on patient education, restoring optimal function, and improving quality of life for his patients through providing personalized therapy tailored to individual patient needs.

Josh loves spending time with his wife and their four children. As a family they like to hike, camp, snow ski, play sports, and do anything in the water. Josh also likes working in his yard.
